According to the International Coach Federation
Coaches honor the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. Standing on this foundation, the coach's responsibility is to
Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve
Encourage client self-discovery
Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies
Hold the client responsible and accountable
This process helps clients dramatically improve their outlook on work and life, while improving their leadership skills and unlocking their potential.
ARRANGE YOUR INTRODUCTORY SESSION
It is very easy to get started. No big rituals. No filling in of lengthy forms. No hoops to clamber through.
You may not even know what it is that you are looking for!
So we have made arranging your first session really easy.
All you have to do is to click the button (GO) at the bottom of this section and it will take you to a page where all you have to do is tell me who you are and how I can get in touch with you.
I will then invite you to meet me for coffee. It could be here in the Mindfulness Centre at Elms Green or it could be in a coffee shop nearer to where you live.
The first meeting with me usually lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. It is effectively a discovery session where I learn more about you and your aspirations. In this meet-up we'll find out if life coaching is right for you, or it could be a time to figure out what you want to focus on, or it could be both.
In this initial session, I will be asking a lot of questions. Some of the questions I may ask might include: What are you passionate about?, what do you avoid?, what is holding you back?, where will this get you?, what’s another way to look at this situation?, etc.. You should walk away from the first meeting with an initial game plan and an idea of what you will do next or something to explore that will start getting you on track.
Now click the button to begin the process. See you for coffee!
There are a few Options with regard to the area that you might choose to focus on.
For example, you might set out to seek help with your personal mindfulness practice but during the initial meeting discover that you are actually at a crossroads spiritually and it is something else you need help with.
These are the Coaching Options I can offer you:
Following Buddha's path
Starting Your Reiki Business
There are others that I have coached for business clients and I can make these available if there is a need.
If you are experiencing financial hardship or are in receipt of State Benefits, please don't let that stop you from coming on a course or for Reiki treatment.
We can arrange a reduced fee. Just let me know.
